Terms of Use
Last updated October 16, 2026
OpenWorld (openworldd.com) is a free map made by bxzex, a software studio in Orlando, Florida. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use OpenWorld.
Directions and driving
Directions, travel times, speed limits, stop signs, cameras, traffic and road alerts are estimates built from public data. They can be wrong, late or missing. Roads close, signs change and data has gaps.
- Always obey road signs, signals, posted limits, police and local laws. They come before anything OpenWorld shows.
- Keep your eyes on the road. Set your route before you drive, and do not handle your phone while driving.
- Do not rely on OpenWorld in an emergency or anywhere safety of life is at stake. Call 911 or your local emergency number.
- Speed and red-light camera alerts are not allowed in some countries. You are responsible for using them only where they are legal.
Weather, storms, earthquakes and other live data
Storms, warnings, earthquakes, aircraft, satellites and traffic cameras come from public agencies and open projects, and can be delayed or incomplete. For warnings, follow your national weather service and local officials, not OpenWorld.
No warranty
OpenWorld is provided free, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It may change, slow down or stop at any time without notice.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, bxzex is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, fine or cost that comes from using or being unable to use OpenWorld, including wrong turns, missed closures, delays, tickets or accidents. You use OpenWorld at your own risk.
Your use
Please do not misuse OpenWorld: no attempts to break, overload or scrape it, and no using it for anything unlawful. Reports you send about a place go to OpenStreetMap as a public note, so do not include private details.
Map data and other people’s content
OpenWorld shows data, images, video and services that belong to others, used under their open licenses or public terms. They are credited on the map and in the map’s menu under Data we use. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Those owners’ own terms apply to their content.
The OpenWorld name, logo, design and code belong to bxzex. Business names and logos shown on the map belong to their owners and do not mean they endorse OpenWorld. OpenWorld is independent and is not affiliated with any map company or government agency.
Rights holders: removal requests
If you own data, imagery, video or other content shown on OpenWorld and want it credited differently or removed, email hello@bxzex.com with what it is and where it appears. We reply promptly and act on valid requests.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using OpenWorld after a change means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
